Application Procedure Details
What is CSC Scholarship ?
CSC Scholarships are awarded by Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) to international students in Chinese universities affiliated with CSC. CSC Scholarships online application system or admission process will be started from December 2021 to April 2022. (Every year generally). In general, Type A application deadline is mid-January and Type B application deadline is the end of March. But the Last date to apply in different University is different for China Scholarships. CSC Scholarships online application is very important for scholarships applicant. To pursue CSC scholarship, application should be 100% accurate. SIC China office has specialized team to handle your application.
There are 274 Chinese universities offering scholarships for international students every year. The list of universities under Chinese government scholarship is available in the download section. The Study Chinese in China also available under scholarship. There are many universities offering Chinese language scholarships in China and MBBS in China as well. You can apply for Engineering subjects, Commerce Subjects, Arts subjects as well.
There are three Scholarship Categories:
1. CSC Scholarship Type A
2. CSC Scholarship Type B
3. CSC Scholarship Type C
• CSC Scholarship Type A (Select it if you apply through Chinese Embassy) : Remember according to new Chinese scholarship council policy, you can apply in 2 University through China Embassy. Every year BD government announce to apply for this scholarship. If you need to apply then you need to prepare your documents before December. Application usually starts from mid December each year.
• CSC Scholarship Category B (Select it if you apply via University) : Remember according to new Chinese scholarship council policy you can apply in 3 University through Category Type B. Here, in Bachelor you need to study in Chinese medium. First year, you need to learn Chinese & need to pass HSK 4. From 2nd year, your Bachelor program will be started. But for Masters & PhD program, you have English & Chinese both medium.
• CSC Scholarship Category C (Select it if you apply through other sources) • As you are applying directly to Chinese University, so you will select CSC Scholarship Category Type B in CSC Scholarship for application.

How to Apply Through SIC ?

NOTE
The passport should be valid within one year.
Documents written in language other than Chinese or English should be submitted with Chinese or English translations. Both original copy and translation copy are required.
The physical examination record, the bank statement and the noncriminal certificate should be completed within 6 months.
An official bank statement is a proof of financial capacity of studying abroad, and necessary for all applicants (If needed). It could be an account statement with detailed transaction records or a deposit statement with a total balance. The amount should at least cover the expense of the first year. The account name could be the applicant or the applicant’s parents, while bank statement from other sponsors should be submitted with a notarized affidavit of financial support.
For acceptance/recommendation letter, please refer to the list of supervisors and the sample form. Please provide CV, certificate of graduation and transcript when contacting with supervisors. (if needed)
For English-medium programs, applicants from non-native English speaking countries if required to submit the English Proficiency Certificate, such as IELTS and TOEFL according to university demand. If applicants cannot take part in these tests, university can also accept the Duolingo English Test result (englishtest.duolingo.com). Ask SIC team before apply. It is an internationally recognized online English proficiency test that can be taken online, on-demand, in under an hour. Certified results are available within 48 hours of the test session.
Need to submit If you have an acceptance letter or a recommendation form offered by professors at Chinese University.
